About Me

Oh, hello internet! My name is Lorraine. I am a 26 year old female who enjoys an arguably unhealthy amount of ketchup consumption, throwing men off by answering questions such as "how are you today?" with "ARE YOU CALLING ME FAT?!" and not having to think of third examples of things I enjoy. This is my blog.

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be "not stupid".

I'm originally from Hamilton, Ontario but currently reside in Edmonton, Alberta where I constantly attempt to convince myself that the cute cowboys and 3 weeks and 4 days we experience of actual "summer" are worth the other eleven months of arctic temperatures and polar bear attacks. For any Americans reading, please note that I am kidding about the polar bear attacks. They don't usually attack, and often make friendly household pets.

I started this blog in November of 2005 with a post about comparing blogging to euchre; yet another epidemic I was convinced to partake in. I regret neither. Especially blogging. But ESPECIALLY euchre.

Over the years, I have been tempted to remove earlier posts as I've evolved a lot from when I first started this, but I enjoy looking back on them and thinking 'Aw, look how she tried. I'm so much better than past Lorraine.'

Here is a picture of me with a gigantic hamburger and a lot of ketchup. Yes, I ate the entire thing. I was proud and ashamed simultaneously.

For the rest of this section, I am going to cut and paste exactly what is written on my online dating profile, mostly because I'm too lazy to think of any more original things to write.

So about me...righto. I like...stuff. Good stuff. Stuff usually likes me too, as far as I know. I think the world would be a pretty empty place if it weren't for stuff. Just imagine wanting to go out on a Friday night; "Let's go out and do stuff." "Stuff...we can't do stuff...there IS no stuff!" Luckily for us, the world happens to be full of stuff to keep us occupied. Sometimes it's hard to find it, which is really the challenge of stuff. But if you're REALLY dedicated...and really have that "stuff" drive...you'll find it. Trust me. I know these things...I have stuff.

I know...hard to believe I'm still single, right??
